Many of our Ph.D. students work on developing new statistical methods which require large amounts of computing time to properly evaluate. For these types of projects, students and faculty will often use the BIOS computing cluster to perform simulations and other analyses efficiently. Students David Pritchard and Brian Barkley developed a thorough guide to using the computing cluster. Enrolled BIOS students can access the guide at ‘/home/groups/everyone/BIOS_COMPUTING/cluster_guide.pdf’ or ‘G:\everyone\BIOS_COMPUTING/cluster_guide.pdf’.
